Snow Summit and The North Face launch photo hiking challenge on Bobsled Trail
Hikers can win gear prizes by snapping five trail photos and submitting them by August 31.

Snow Summit has teamed up with The North Face to offer a summer hiking challenge on the Bobsled Trail, giving local hikers and visitors a chance to win outdoor gear just for hitting the trail with a camera.
The challenge is simple: hike the Bobsled Trail — starting from either the top or the bottom — and capture five designated photos along the way. The required shots are a trailhead selfie, your favorite view, a nature close-up, the coolest tree you spot, and a finish line celebration photo. There's also an optional bonus shot for anyone who encounters wildlife. Resort signage along the trail marks the way.
Once you've gathered your photos, attach all of them to a single email and send it to partnerchallenge@bbmr.com (opens in a new tab) with the subject line "The North Face Hiking Challenge." Include your full name and email address in the body of the message so organizers can reach you if you're selected. Winners receive The North Face product prizes, and participants must be 18 or older to be eligible.
The resort asks that hikers stay on designated trails, respect wildlife and natural habitats, and be mindful of fellow hikers while taking photos.
The deadline to submit your entry is August 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT. A representative quote from the resort or a past challenge participant could not be confirmed at time of publication.
