20th annual Mountain AA Conference coming to Big Bear Lake in August

The three-day recovery gathering returns to the Big Bear Performing Arts Center with speakers, meals, and activities for AA and Al-Anon members alike.

The 20th annual Mountain AA Conference will bring together members of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon at the Big Bear Performing Arts Center, 39707 Big Bear Boulevard, over the last weekend of August 2026. Organized by San Bernardino Mountain AA/Al-Anon Members, the conference runs from 6 PM on Friday, August 28, through noon on Sunday, August 30.

The weekend lineup is packed. Attendees can look forward to five main AA speakers, a gourmet luncheon, a Saturday night ice cream social, yoga with a sound bath, a Sunday morning pancake breakfast, Long Timers and AA marathon meetings, and a country store stocked with souvenirs. The event is designed to offer something for both AA and Al-Anon participants.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued. Attendees who need vegetarian meal options can call Christina Z. at (909) 273-8561 before the August 29 meal cutoff.
