Glow balls and night skies: Bear Mountain Golf Course hosts Driving Range After Dark on Sept. 4

The Coca-Cola-presented event lets groups of up to four tee off under the stars for $30 an hour.

By Big Bear News1 min read

Bear Mountain Golf Course is lighting up the night with Driving Range After Dark, a glow-in-the-dark golf event set for September 4, 2026. It's a fun, low-key way for locals and visitors to enjoy the mountain summer evening without the pressure of a full round.

For $30 per group, up to four players share one mat and 40 glow balls for an hour of nighttime swinging. The range is open for walk-up play anytime between 7 PM and 9:30 PM, though anyone hoping to grab a bucket should arrive before the 9 PM cutoff. No reservations appear to be required — just show up, pay, and play.

The driving range sits between holes 4 and 6 at 905 Club View Dr. in Big Bear Lake. Golfers should park in the Cedar Club Lot and follow the short walk to the range. The event is presented by Coca-Cola. One thing to keep in mind: pets are not permitted on-site.

For more information, check Bear Mountain Resort's events page or call the golf course directly ahead of the September 4 date.
