Bear Mountain Scout Weekend returns March 13–14 for its 23rd year

Bear Mountain Resort will host its 23rd Annual Scout Weekend on March 13–14, 2027, giving local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts a chance to hit the slopes and earn their Snow Sport Merit Badge in the process.[1]

The weekend is open to any active Scout, and volunteer Merit Badge counselors will be on the mountain to evaluate participants through on-hill testing.[1] Scouts planning to go through the evaluation should arrive ready: completed workbooks and Blue Cards are required to participate.[1] Every Scout who takes part in the weekend will also receive a 2027 Bear Mountain Scout Weekend Patch.[1]
